Acceptable Use Policy

Innovative Computer Services and Solutions, hereinafter referred to as "ICSS" ("we," "us," or "our") | Effective Date: August 2026 | Last Updated: August 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") gives our customers and users a clear understanding of what ICSS expects of them while using our services. All users of ICSS's services — whether or not you hold a paid account — must comply with this AUP and our Service Agreement. Use of ICSS's services constitutes acceptance of this AUP.

We support the free flow of information and ideas over the internet and do not actively monitor subscriber activity under normal circumstances, nor do we exercise editorial control over content created or accessible through our services. However, we may remove any material that, in our sole discretion, is illegal, may subject us to liability, or violates this AUP, and we may cooperate with legal authorities and third parties investigating suspected crimes or civil wrongdoing.

A violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account. We prefer to advise customers of inappropriate behavior and any necessary corrective action first, but flagrant violations may result in immediate termination without notice. Our failure to enforce this policy at any given time does not waive our right to do so later.

1. Guidelines

This AUP exists to:

  • Ensure reliable service to our customers
  • Ensure the security and privacy of our systems and network, as well as the networks and systems of others
  • Comply with existing laws
  • Maintain our reputation as a responsible service provider
  • Encourage responsible use of the internet and discourage activities that reduce its usability and value
  • Preserve the internet as a conduit for free expression and exchange of information
  • Preserve the privacy and security of individual users

2. Prohibited Activities

The following constitute violations of this AUP:

  • Illegal use — using our services for any illegal purpose or in support of illegal activity.
  • Harm to minors — using our services to harm or attempt to harm minors in any way, including but not limited to child pornography.
  • Threats — transmitting material that threatens or encourages bodily harm or destruction of property.
  • Harassment — transmitting material that harasses another person.
  • Fraudulent activity — making fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services, or advancing financial scams such as pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, or chain letters.
  • Forgery or impersonation — adding, removing, or modifying identifying network header information to deceive or mislead, forging any part of a message header, or impersonating another person using forged headers or identifying information. (Use of anonymous remailers or nicknames alone does not constitute impersonation.)
  • Unsolicited commercial or bulk email (spam) — expressly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
  • Email bombing — malicious intent to impede another person's use of email services.
  • Unauthorized access — accessing or attempting to access others' accounts, or penetrating or attempting to penetrate the security of ICSS or another party's systems, regardless of whether the intrusion results in data loss or corruption.
  • Copyright or trademark infringement — transmitting, hosting, or distributing (including via peer-to-peer or file-sharing software) material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right, including unauthorized copying, digitization, or distribution of copyrighted material or software.
  • Collection of personal data — collecting or attempting to collect personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
  • Network disruption — any activity that affects others' ability to use our services or the internet, including denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. You're responsible for ensuring your account and network are configured securely and aren't used, through action or inaction, to enable illegal or inappropriate activity by others.
  • Distribution of viruses or malware — intentionally distributing software intended to damage, harass, or annoy people, data, or computer systems. Results in immediate account termination.

3. Account and Password Responsibility

You're responsible for any misuse of your account, even if committed by a friend, family member, guest, or employee — you must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access. Your password is your responsibility to keep secure; sharing it with unauthorized users, or attempting to obtain another user's password, is prohibited and may result in termination. You may not attempt to circumvent authentication or security on any host, network, or account, including using or distributing tools designed to compromise security (password-guessing programs, cracking tools, network probing tools) or attempting denial-of-service attacks. Violations of systems or network security may carry criminal or civil liability, and we will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigating suspected violations.

4. Shared Resources

Many ICSS accounts operate on shared server resources. Excessive use or abuse of shared resources by one customer can negatively affect other customers, and is prohibited under this policy — it may result in account suspension. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time; it's your responsibility to check back periodically for updates.

5. Billing, Suspension, and Cancellation

For billing due dates, payment terms, service suspension, cancellation, and data retention after cancellation, see our Service Agreement — that document is the single source of truth for those terms, not this AUP.
