Innovative Computer Services and Solutions ("ICSS," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect personal information you provide directly when creating an account or placing an order, including:

  • Name and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address)
  • Account credentials (username)
  • Domain names associated with your hosting account
  • Support and communication history
  • Messages and details you send through our live chat

We do not collect or store payment card information. All payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor (Stripe) and is subject to their privacy policy and security standards. ICSS never has access to your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.

2. Automatically Collected Information

When you access our website or client portal, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate location (city level)
  • Pages visited, time spent on the site, and how you arrived (referring URLs)
  • Cookie and similar identifiers, described in our Cookie Policy

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and Tawk.to for live chat. These service providers may process information about your use of our website in connection with the services they provide to ICSS. The information is used for security monitoring, troubleshooting, answering chat requests, and improving our services. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provision and manage your hosting services
  • Send invoices, billing notices, and service-related communications
  • Respond to support requests
  • Notify you of planned maintenance or service changes
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We may share your information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third parties that help us run our business, including Stripe (payment processing), Google (website analytics), Tawk.to (live chat), our email delivery provider, our domain registrar and reseller platform (ResellerClub, which receives domain registrant details to register your domain), and server infrastructure providers. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
  • Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of ICSS, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction with notice provided to you.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account termination:

  • Hosting account data is retained for 14 days before permanent deletion
  • Billing and transaction records are retained for 7 years as required for financial record-keeping
  • Support communications are retained for 3 years

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and access controls on our systems.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

California residents may have certain rights regarding their personal information under applicable California privacy laws. ICSS also provides customers with the following privacy choices and controls:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
  • Request information about whether your personal information is sold or shared. ICSS does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@icssinc.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

8. Cookies and Do Not Track

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, live chat, and payment processing. The full list, what each does, and how to control them is in our Cookie Policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will affect sign-in, checkout, and the client portal.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. We do not currently change how our site works in response to these signals. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run advertising cookies. Analytics and live chat operate as described in the Cookie Policy unless you block them in your browser.

Third parties that provide analytics and chat on our site, as listed in the Cookie Policy, may collect information about your visit. We do not permit any third party to collect your personal information across other sites for advertising through our site.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy
